Capoeira Brasil Calgary welcomes you to our fourth Festival & Batizado Graduation June 19 - 22 2025. This event includes kids & adult workshops with visiting teachers, rodas, graduation ceremony and so much more! The Batizado is the 'baptism' or initiation into Capoeira for new students which is combined with the Troca de Cordas ceremony where dedicated students gain their next belt level. Mestres and teachers from around the world will be coming to Calgary to put on an event you won't soon forget! We look forward to expanding our knowledge of Capoeira through various workshops, rodas, and music classes. We hope you can make it and together we can grow the Capoeira community in Calgary.
